OUR VISION

who we want to be

Our vision is to be a gospel-driven church seeking the renewal & flourishing of all people in Dorchester and beyond.

OUR MISSION

What we are called to do

Our mission is to make gospel-fluent disciples who love God, love one another, and love our city.

CORE VALUES

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Gospel-Centrality (Colossians 1:15-23)

We are a church centered on Jesus and His gospel! The gospel is the good news of God's gracious acceptance of sinners, new life and the renewal of all things - all made possible through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Therefore, central to our identity and all our activity is the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Changed Lives (Romans 6:1-14)

We are a church committed to seeing changed lives! The gospel is not only good news of God's forgiveness for His people, but God's promise of new life in Him. Therefore, we are committed to growing as disciples of Jesus Christ together so that we might all pursue holistic maturity, wholeness and health as God's renewed people.

Life Together (Acts 2:42-47)

We are a church committed to doing life together. The Church is a living, breathing organism (what the Bible calls "the body of Christ") that exists beyond our weekly Sunday Worship services. Therefore, we are a diverse spiritual family of believers  who are not only committed to worshipping together, but also walking alongside one another daily as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Neighborhood Flourishing (Jeremiah 29:7)

We are a church seeking the spiritual, social and cultural flourishing of all people in our neighborhood, Dorchester. Though we welcome people from all over the greater Boston area, we are keenly focused on seeking the renewal and flourishing of this place where a majority of our members are privileged to call home. Therefore, we are committed to the proclamation of the gospel in our neighborhood as well as the applications of the gospel in our neighborhood (the pursuit of justice, mercy and equity on behalf of all people).

Spirit-Dependence (Acts 2:1-41)

We are a church dependent on the Holy Spirit of God. We are humbly aware that apart from the work of the Holy Spirit that all of our efforts as a church are in vain. Therefore, we are a church committed to equipping and calling our people to Spirit-dependent lives of prayer.
