Women's Ministry: Hospitality & Hope in a Relationally Fragmented World
Sat, Apr 7th 10am - 11:30am

We are in a relational turning point—the breakdown of the traditional family unit, the rise of singles and same-sex attraction, the increased movement away suburbs (with their traditional extended family support systems) to cities, the staggering number of incarcerated fathers, and the rising number of widows and widowers in the Baby Boom generation. These changes, however, aren't obstacles to the church but opportunities. How can we recover a vision of the church as family in a way that offers hope and love to our increasingly fragmented world? Bethany Jenkins will be speaking at CTK Cambridge. She works for Veritas and writes for the Gospel Coalition. Women will also have the opportunity to go out to lunch in groups with each other after the talk.
